Description
The journey begins in Agra, where students explore the Taj Mahal, an icon of architectural brilliance, symmetry, and engineering from the 17th century. The visit opens discussions on cultural symbolism, the Mughal Empire’s artistic vision, and conservation challenges for heritage sites.
At Agra Fort, students study military architecture, strategic design, and life in a fortified Mughal capital. A visit to Fatehpur Sikri, the former imperial city, showcases urban planning, water management systems, and Indo-Islamic architecture.
Shifting focus to Bharatpur, the Keoladeo National Park serves as a living laboratory for environmental studies. Known as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, this man-made wetland hosts over 370 species of birds, including the Siberian Crane during migration season. Students learn about habitat preservation, wetlands’ role in biodiversity, and the global importance of migratory routes.
Nature walks, bird-watching activities, and interactions with park guides enrich the learning process, combining classroom knowledge with hands-on observation.
The combination of Agra’s heritage and Bharatpur’s ecology ensures students return with enhanced knowledge in history, culture, architecture, and environmental science—all in one educational tour.
