This thoughtfully curated excursion is more than just a journey—it is a living classroom that blends heritage, patriotism, spirituality, and culture to provide students with transformative learning experiences beyond textbooks.
The adventure begins in Chandigarh, where the Rock Garden inspires creativity and sustainability through its unique sculptures made from recycled materials, encouraging students to think innovatively about resourcefulness. At the Sukhna Lake, the calm waters and natural surroundings promote mindfulness, reflection, and leisure, offering a balance of recreation and learning.
The program takes a patriotic turn at the Wagah Border, where the ceremonial parade fills young minds with pride, discipline, and the value of teamwork, leaving them with a deeper appreciation of national unity and sacrifice.
In Amritsar, history and spirituality come alive. At Jallianwala Bagh, students walk through the echoes of India’s freedom struggle, developing empathy for the sacrifices that shaped the nation. The Partition Museum further deepens this understanding by highlighting resilience, human values, and the importance of peace in times of conflict. The journey continues with a visit to the Golden Temple, where students experience serenity, equality, and devotion at the spiritual heart of Sikhism, complemented by the spirit of community service through langar (the free kitchen).
Finally, the program concludes with a tranquil stroll through the Pinjore Garden, an exquisite Mughal-era heritage site that showcases India’s artistic and cultural legacy. Its grandeur and design foster an appreciation for aesthetics, history, and the preservation of cultural heritage.
